Tips for Self-Storage

Fill containers and boxes to capacity

Protect your fragile items with packing and put at top of your space

Place a pallet on concrete floor and leave a walkway to the rear if possible

Do not lean absorbent items against walls or on floors

Appliances should be clean and dried with doors ajar

Bicycles and metal items should be wiped with machine oil to retard rust

Wardrobe style cardboard cartons are great for clothing

Plastic sheeting under mattresses, and standing on their side is optimal.

Mirrors, windows and screen should also be stored on edges, not flat.
